STIR FRY GREEN BEANS WITH GARLIC AND CHILLI

Fresh, bright green beans with a hint of chilli and garlic. Fabulous colour and flavour.

 

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

400 g (14 oz) green beans, ends cut off

1 tbsp sesame oil

½ tsp sugar

2 tbsp soy sauce

½ – 1 tsp red chilli flakes

 

In a large saucepan, bring some water to the boil and cook beans for 2-3 minutes or until they are bright green and barely cooked. Refresh under cold water.

Heat the oil in a pan and quickly cook the garlic for half a minute. Add the green beans and cook for a few minutes or until they are tender.  Add the chilli, soy sauce and sugar and cook for a few seconds until beans are coated.
